NARIVANA ANGKOR
Holiday Villa
ABOUT
Narivana Angkor is a beautiful holiday villa in the traditional Khmer style, sensitively adapted to contemporary needs, with a gorgeous reflection pool in a tropical garden. We are at the edge of the conservation zone within easy cycling distance of Angkor Wat, a stone's throw from the river and just 10 minutes from downtown Siem Reap.
Designed by distinguished French architect Claire Campens, the house accommodates up to six people in three bedrooms. A generous terrace doubles as a dining space, and from the open sitting room in the upstairs loggia you can watch the sun set over the fields.
The upper floor is clad in reclaimed timber from old Cambodian houses, and the bedrooms are simply and stylishly furnished in mostly reclaimed wood. Floors are tiled in locally made colonial tiles.
The house is equipped with all modern comforts, with good fast WiFi, air-conditioning and cooling fans, a fully functioning kitchen and plenty of space to sit and relax after a hot day at the temples. Friendly staff are at hand to assist you with all your needs.
We are committed to sustainable management as far as possible and try to keep single-use plastic to a minimum. Reverse-osmosis water is provided in reusable glass bottles, and organic cleaning materials come from a local manufacturer. Our staff come from a farming village of former refugees in the Apsara zone, and their employment supports sustainable livelihoods.

THINGS TO DO
Angkor
The majestic temples of the ancient Khmer kingdom are the biggest draw for visitors to Siem Reap. The main temple complex of Angkor Wat and the walled city of Angkor Thom are only a short drive from the property.
Downtown Fun
Before the pandemic, Siem Reap was Party Central in Cambodia. Now both the famous Pub Street and its more stylish and sophisticated cousins are slowly coming back to life.
Tonle Sap
Every year the Tonle Sap river reverses its flow to form the biggest inland lake in Southeast Asia. A sunset tour of its submerged forests and stilted villages is a must.
Phare Circus
More than just a circus, the performers of Phare social enterprise use theater, music and dance to tell uniquely Cambodian stories. Prepare to be astonished by their daredevil acrobatics.
Food Tour
Cambodian food is only now beginning to get its due, thanks to both innovative young chefs and older locals who have preserved its secrets. Taste Siem Reap has the inside track.
Kulen Mountain
Stunning waterfalls at the source of the Siem Reap river, and a thousand lingam carved into the rock of the river bed.
